Four Football Bets for the Rest of the 2024-25 Season

Football fans are in for a treat over the next couple of months, with the remainder of the 2024/25 season set to provide a plethora of exciting betting opportunities.

While the title races in the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 are a foregone conclusion, it is a different story in La Liga and Serie A.

Elsewhere the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League have reached the quarter-final stage and offer punters more chances to wager.

With that in mind, read on as we look at four enticing football bets for the rest of the 2024/25 season, starting with one in UEFA’s top club competition.

PSG and Villa fancied to deliver goals

Several big guns have been knocked out of the Champions League, potentially opening the door for a surprise outcome to the prestigious competition.

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain will fancy their chances of upsetting the odds after being paired with Premier League club Aston Villa in the quarter-finals.

PSG fans may be tempted to visit new French Online Casino Vegasino ahead of the first leg with a view to boosting their bankroll for wagering on their team.

From there, odds of 9/5 for PSG to defeat Villa and both teams to score look a tempting proposition given the firepower each side possesses.

Villa worth chancing in the Premier League top six market

Identifying value bets in the Premier League is a tricky task at the moment, but the bookmakers may have made a misstep with their odds in the ‘finish in the top six’ market.

Just four points separates the teams in fourth to tenth place, setting up what promises to be a roller-coaster end to a thrilling season in the English top flight.

Fourth-placed Chelsea have a tough run-in, which could open the door for a team currently outside the top six to muscle their way in.

Villa are just two points adrift of the top six with nine games remaining and still have to play several of the teams around them. Odds of 5/1 to finish sixth or higher are tempting.

Manchester United fancied to end the season on a high note

Manchester United have failed to live up to expectations in the Premier League and their defence of the FA Cup ended when Fulham knocked them out of the competition.

They also exited the League Cup in the quarter-finals, which has left the Europa League as their only remaining route to winning major silverware this season.

After going unbeaten during the league phase, the Red Devils eased into the quarter-finals of the competition by defeating Real Sociedad 5-2 on aggregate in the last-16.

They are the favourites to beat Lyon in their next tie and look a decent value bet at odds of 15/4 to win the Europa League and a book a place in next season’s Champions League.

Fiorentina on track to reach their third successive Europa Conference League final

Fiorentina are bidding to make it third time lucky in the Europa Conference League after being defeated by West Ham United and Olympiacos in the last two finals.

They are strongly fancied to beat Slovenian side NK Celje in the quarter-finals, which would set-up a last four meeting with either Real Betis or Jagiellonia Białystok.

Betis would be tougher opponents than the Polish team, but Fiorentina have the attacking talent to emerge victorious against either side.

Odds of 11/10 to reach the final of UEFA’s third-tier are a little skinny, but offer punters a tempting way to double their stake on their wager.
